Kolev & Kolev

Kolev & Kolev is a Bulgarian company, manufacturer of children's shoes, established in 1996. The brand is emblematic in the "toddler" segment, and the company sells about 30,000 pairs of booties a year. According to statistics, about 60 thousand babies are born in our country, i.e. every second Bulgarian baby is born with these shoes.

In 2014, along with the children's line, the company launched a separate orthopedic footwear division, signing a contract with the Social Assistance Agency. The children's shoes are custom-made according to doctors' prescriptions and medical diagnosis, and individual measurements are taken from the child's feet for this purpose.

With responsibility and knowledge of the specifics of the child's foot, the production of baby booties using a new innovative 3D K-knit knitting technology began. It uses certified materials and has a sporty look. Besides being quality, stable and comfortable, the baby shoe is beautiful with its modern design. But the new technology has another great advantage. It is "green" - using fewer, more efficient materials and operations, which saves energy and reduces waste.

The production of Kolev & Kolev is made on Italian machines of high technological level. "At the moment we have self-confidence that we are the best not only in Bulgaria, because on the world markets we compete with manufacturers from all over the world", assures one of the founders of the company Ivan Kolev. He confirms that in technical terms Kolev & Kolev is comparable to any good global company.

Through its partnership with the Equity Investment Fund, the company plans to expand into new markets, with an initial target of neighbouring Romania. It also plans to invest in R&D- developing new children's shoes using modern materials and technical innovations and patenting them.
