M2PROM
Miroslav Konstantinov and Mitko Dimov /M2/ are two young men, united by their passion for the high-endFrench style, passed on in their company for the design and production of luxury commercial furniture - M2PROM. The two friends want to change the perception that Bulgarian furniture manufacturers are low-cost and work poorly. They embrace the mission to work for the image of Bulgaria.
Their company is based in the country, but they work mainly for the French market and have contracts with international companies with subsidiaries all over the world. Soon, they are about to start the creation of equipment for global fashion brands such as Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. They became an official subcontractor of the large French retail chain Lagardere, they have made furnishings for sites of the Paris airports Charles de Gaulle and Orly. They have furnished the four offices of the aircraft giant Airbus in Toulouse, as well as two major French insurance companies.
They also work with other companies for whom they make furniture for luxury boutiques in France, England, Spain, America. Their portfolio includes 12 DIOR boutiques - in Venice, London's HARRODS, Paris, Madrid, and the United States. The complete commercial furnishing of those sites is theirs - from the wall lining to the smallest detail.
However, they need more capital to make their dreams come true. And after some serious research, they settled on the Equity Investment Fund because they were attracted by the opportunity to work entirely with public resources. The fresh investment helps the company to move towards higher added value and to bet on a digitalized transformation of production. With financial and expert support, M2 PROM has significantly increased its production capacity and quality. Despite the economic difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, M2 PROM has seen an increase in its sales revenue, realizing a nearly 5-fold increase in turnover, reaching an amount of BGN 6 777 000 in 2021.
The following year, 2022, EIF emerged successful from the deal with the company after French giant Lindera Group acquired 100% of M2 PROM.
